Dr. Robert Cumming

A chiropractor since 1989, Dr. Robert J. Cumming moved his practice to the Active Back to Health Centre in 2004. Following his undergraduate training in sciences at the University of Calgary, he studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where he graduated Cum Laude. After a preceptorship in Idaho, Dr. Cumming returned to Calgary where he has been in continuous active practice. He has served as an examiner for the College of Chiropractors of Alberta and for the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board with whom his most recent involvement was the Test Construction Committee. He is also proud to be a member of Pi Tau Delta - an international chiropractic honorary society open to graduates with outstanding academic performance. In 2000, Dr. Cumming became certified in clinical acupuncture which he has found to be a most fascinating and extremely useful adjunct to traditional chiropractic care. Dr. Cumming and his lovely wife Kari have two wonderful daughters that keep them laughing and constantly running!
