Marie Pauline Gerona, was born and raised in the Phillipines. She graduated from Riverside College in the Philippines with a five-year Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy. The fifth year provides advanced clinical experiences in hospitals, clinics and rehabilitation facilities. Following this, she completed an additional five months training in orthopedics and trauma care.
Pauline moved to Montréal in 2005 where she completed her massage therapist training. She has treated local and national athletes in boxing, wrestling, hockey and fencing. Pauline has an interest in reflexology and was trained for this as well. When she moved to Calgary, Pauline took further training in massage therapy and therapeutic stone therapy. She's certified in First Aid and CPR.
We are very fortunate that Pauline recently moved to Calgary and joined the Active Back To Health team. Her extensive education and clinical experience gives her a unique advantage allowing her to achieve her goals of helping clients maintain and enhance their health by providing treatment that is professionally appropriate for the client.
On weekends she serves in a community of Christian women actively involved in helping other women. She loves going to the gym as well as cycling and mountain climbing.
